About Bree

Hello!

Welcome family and friends to my website. I’ve always been a do-it-yourself enthusiast, and since the stay at home order in March 2020, our home has become a craft bonanza. I thought this would be a nice way to share these creations with loved ones and to keep you all caught up on the projects that are currently occupying my mind and time. Plus, if I find a technique or recipe you might want to try, I’ll post that on this website too!

A bit about me

As a psychologist, my day job means working with students of all ages. It can be challenging, but ultimately is rewarding and I wouldn’t choose another career. In my spare time, you can find me playing with our cats, reading, knitting, baking, or watching cooking shows and comic book movies with my boyfriend Adam. (Shout out to Adam for reminding me to eat and drink when I get hyper-focused on my current DIY obsession!)

Practically purrfect in every way

Chester, the baby of the family. Between crawling under the bed covers for a nap or kicking himself in the head with his big back feet, he has brought so much joy during our time spent at home during COVID-19.
Trixie, the queen of the house. My baby girl still doesn’t like having brothers, but has come to tolerate Ghus and Chester chasing her around. She also continues to try to escape outside every chance she gets. Sorry Trixie, we’re all indoor cats now!
Keeper, the elder of the household. We think he’s 18, but aren’t sure. What we do know if that Keeper has lots of love for pets, cuddling, and treats. His pupils are always dilated, and if the mood strikes he wanders the house licking any exposed cords he can find.
Ghus (pronounced like Goose) LOVES Keeper. Ghus follows Keeper everywhere and has come out of his shell since we brought him home. I’d still describe him as a human hater, but he tolerates Adam and I most days. When he can’t find another feline in the house, Ghus wanders around meowing until one is found.
